Not Necessarily The News: Tootie Goes To Norway

Tootie Landry fills you in on her recent vacation to Norway and how expensive it is to visit on this edition of "Not Necessarily The News."

Hey! I'm Tootie Landry and this is what I found out today! I just got back from my vacation abroad. I visited the country of Norway- home of the Vikings! It was so confusing… Brett Favre wasn't there and I never saw the Metrodome. In fact, I'm pretty sure there are more Vikings in Minnesota than in Norway!

Norway is a very expensive country to live in or visit! A coke cost $11.00, a Big Mac $18.00, and a 6 inch sandwich at subway is $21.00! I often buy bottled water from Norway at Rouse's- it's $2.00 here! Same bottle in Norway, 10 bucks!

Needless to say, the Dollar General Store in Norway is the 10 dollar store! Even Oprah is not rich there! I looked for the guys from the capitol one commercial, but I didn't see them either!

The sun never sets in the summertime- It's daylight 24 hours a day- so really a.m. and p.m. mean nothing!

And finally, after searching throughout Norway and never seeing a real Viking, I get back and just went to the Northside of Lafayette! And I'm Tootie Landry and this is Not Necessarily the News!
