WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says voters will see two different visions for America's future in the fall midterms elections, casting his party as the better choice for women.

Obama says Republicans will offer an agenda that will help the wealthy, big banks and polluters while Democrats have sought to give people what he calls a "fair shot," pointing to economic improvements since the recession.

The president tells a daylong forum held by the Democratic National Committee for more than 500 of the party's top female donors that, quote, "when women succeed, America succeeds."

The DNC conference also heard from Vice President Joe Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and others as Democrats seek to defend their Senate majority in a number of races with female incumbents.
