Obama Cuts Down Use of Executive Power – Then Uses it Himself

It appears that Barack Obama was against the use of Executive powers, before he was for it.  That is the conclusion of the New York Times, who reported that he has made a remarkable shift in policy since becoming President of the United States.

Candidate Obama made many statements deriding the use of these powers in the Bush Administration before he found that he needed them himself after Republicans took power in the House of Representatives, just a couple of years into his Presidency.
