President Obama put together a jobs council to advise him on ways that the government can encourage job growth.  But, with jobs being a focal point of the election, you would think that this group would have met recently, but they haven't.  In fact, according to reports, it has been six months since they last sat down to discuss ways to improve the job market.

When asked about it, White House spokesman Jay Carney said that the President "has a lot on his plate."  That would, no doubt, include countless fundraisers that he has attended in the time between the last meeting and now.

What do you think about this?  Should the President convene his council soon or is it really that big of a deal?
