SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Shreveport police say an off duty officer was robbed early Sunday morning.

The Times reports the officer, who works in an undercover capacity, told authorities he pulled over to use an ATM, when he was approached by two males, one of whom was armed with a hand gun.

The officer said one of the suspects rummaged through his car while the other suspect, holding him at gunpoint, demanded money. The officer was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money along with a departmental-issued hand gun.

Police say the suspects were last seen driving a black four-door Saturn.

The officer was not injured in the robbery.
