“Officer On The Train” Enforcement Detail In Eunice Nets 12 Citations

Authorities cracking down on people who ignore railroad signals for approaching trains.This morning in Eunice, State Police teamed with local authorities to issue 12 citations, including one to a school bus driver, for people who didn't obey the signal and didn't stop properly. Last year in Louisiana, 65 people were injured and another 13 people were killed in collisions at railroad crossings, ranking 3rd and 4th highest in the nation respectively.
