Update: School will go on for students at Catahoula Elementary School on Monday, says St. Martin Parish Superintendent Lottie Beebe.

The Catahoula Water System still has a boil advisory in effect, according to our news partners at KATC.

Crews are working to fix a water break to the main water line in St. Martin Parish District 4 of Catahoula and outer parts of St. Martinville, leaving some customers without water, according to our news partners at KATC.

Residents will then be under a boil advisory once this is all fixed and the water is back running.

Fortunately, in Cecilia, the boil advisory has been lifted. The same is the case in the St. Landry Parish town of Plaisance.
