The US Coast Guard and other agencies are responding to an oil spill at the mouth of the Mississippi River.

It’s estimated that the 4200 gallons of oil came from a well owned by Texas Petroleum Investment Company. Multiple oil spill response organizations have been contracted by the company to help clean up.

Aerial assessments are now being conducted and the investigation is on-going as to how the spill happened.
