Old Atchafalaya Bridge In St. Mary Parish To Close Today For Work

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says they will close the Old Atchafalaya Bridge for routine bridge inspection today.

DOTD officials say the work will start at 8 a.m. this morning and likely last until noon, weather permitting.

Traffic in that area of St. Mary Parish will be rerouted to the U.S. 90 Bridge.
