One Arrested In Lafayette Family Dollar Robbery

A 27-year-old Lafayette man was arrested Sunday and charged with the armed robbery of a Family Dollar store on Moss Street.

Lafayette Police Department Cpl. Paul Mouton said Hendric Cormier allegedly entered the store and pulled out a pistol before demanding money from the employees.

Cormier left the business with an undetermined amount of cash.

The case remains under investigation.
