An investigation by the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit has led to the arrest of one person and while seeking another.

Sheriff K.P. Gibson said 32-year-old April Oschmann was arrested on multiple narcotics charges after deputies conducted a search of a home on Hanks Street in Morse.

Deputies recovered drugs including heroin, crystal meth, drug paraphernalia and currency.

Oschmann was booked on the following charges:

  • Possession with intent to distribute heroin
  • Possession with intent to distribute crystal methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

“We are starting to see a drastic increase in Crystal Meth in our area as well as increasing amounts of Heroin” stated Sheriff Gibson.

Agents have issued arrest warrants for a second person involved in this investigation. He is identified as Ashley Green, white male, 42 years of age. Green is wanted for the same charges above.
