A Jeanerette man died from injuries he sustained yesterday after a three vehicle crash on Highway 90 east of Highway 88.

Troopers says 21-year-old Dawn Broussard of New Iberia traveled from the eastbound side of the road over to the westbound lanes, hitting 47-year0old Jarwin Bourque's car.

Broussard's car continued on after the first crash and hit another car.  All the of the drivers were wearing seat belts, but Bourque's injuries were critical, and he died a short time later at a hospital.

Troopers do not suspect impairment was a factor in this crash; however, routine toxicology samples were obtained and will be submitted to the State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
