One Lafayette Road To Close Today

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will be closing a road at its intersection with Highway 339 for a couple of days.

DOTD will close Ashy Road with its intersection at Verot School Road for today and tomorrow, Tuesday, October 18.

They are doing this work so that they can do some drainage upgrades that are needed for the continued widening project of Verot School Road.

DOTD says you can use Green Road and Tolson Road to bypass the work being done on Ashy Road.

DOTD officials ask drivers to proceed with caution in work zones.
