One Person Arrested In Alleged Apartment Burglary In Lafayette

At least one person is in custody following a reported burglary at The Edge Apartments in Lafayette.

Around 2:00 p.m. Thursday, multiple Lafayette Police and Lafayette Sheriff’s Office cars were seen with their lights on, attempting to catch whoever was responsible for the burglary. LPD spokesman Cpl. Paul Mouton says authorities were reacting to a call from the security officer on scene at the apartments. Mouton says one suspect has been arrested.
