One Person Killed In Apparent Christmas Eve Crash

Police in Iberia Parish are investigating the death of a man killed in an apparent crash on Christmas Eve.

According to Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal, deputies responded to a vehicle that had apparently left the roadway and got stuck on a U.S. Hwy. 90 service road.

Deputies found a male body laying near the crash site, and he was pronounced dead by the coroner's office.

The man has only been identified as being 42 years old, and no further information will be released until his family is notified.

The crash remains under investigation.
