25-year-old David Rideaux's Friday night ended with him going to jail.

Opelousas Police say Rideaux was arrested around 11:00 p.m. that night on several marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia charges after officers had been watching his home on Trosclair Street for several days. Police say they found about $2,500.00 worth of drugs once they were inside the home. He faces the following charges:

  • Poss. with the intent to Distribute Schedule I
  • Poss. with the intent to Distribute Schedule V
  • Poss. Of Drug Paraphernalia

Rideaux goes before a magistrate Monday morning.
