Opelousas Man Dies From Stab Wounds

An Opelousas man was pronounced dead after he was involved in a stabbing.
Opelousas police received a call around 11 p.m. Saturday of a man stabbed in the upper chest.
Police say 20-year-old Chadric Kennerson was taken to Opelousas General Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigators believe the stabbing was a result of a fight between Kennerson and another man.
Police say 19-year-old Markell Roberts of Opelousas turned himself in to police Sunday and was booked with manslaughter.
It was unclear whether Roberts has an attorney.
