Opelousas Man Facing 5 To 30 Years In Prison In Vehicular Homicide Case

57-year-old Joseph Austin of Opelousas has been indicted for the vehicular homicide of Donald Ray Berry in September of 2011.

According to our news partner at KATC, Austin was indicted Thursday after extensive forensic testing delayed getting the case to the grand jury.

Austin faces anywhere from five to 30 years in prison if he's convicted on the vehicular homicide charge.
