Update – Missing Opelousas Man Found

56-year-old Gervis Riggs of Opelousas has been found, according to Captain Megan Vizena.

56-year-old Gervis Riggs of Opelousas has gone missing and St. Landry Sheriff's deputies need your help trying to find him.

Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena says Gervis was last seen on Sunday, September 7 at his home on 9277 Highway 182. His family hasn't been able to make contact with him and he has not reported to work in the past two days.

Gervis is a black male, 5'6" and about 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
