Opelousas Wife Arrested For Having Sex With Teen

An Opelousas woman is behind bars for admittedly having sex with a 16-year-old male multiple times.

Sheriff's spokesman Major Eddie Thibodeaux 26-year-old Hannah LeBlanc was booked into the St. Landry Parish jail for felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Thibodeaux said on January 25 deputies were called out to a home near Lewisburg where the teen and LeBlanc's husband were in a verbal altercation. Authorities--learning of the encounters during the argument--later conducted an investigation leading to LeBlanc's arrest.

“It is a tragic case when adults have sexual relations with juveniles.  The physical and mental issues that occur resulting during and after the “relationship” has a lasting effect on our youth and puts shame on the adult’s family.”
