A statewide push to get working smoke detectors into homes starts this weekend. Called "Operation Save  A Life", the program is run by the state Fire Marshal's Office, in cooperation  with Kidde fire safety products, ABC TV and Home Depot stores. Of the state's 98 fire-related deaths in 2010, 91 were in homes with no working smoke detector. The campaign will also encourage folks to buy and install CO2 detectors as well.
