New Orleans Head Coach Sean Payton says quarterback Drew Brees is considered "day-to-day" for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Brees has a bruised rotator cuff after taking numerous hits in their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

In this video, offensive tackle Zach Strief says he apologized to Brees about the hits he took. To no surprise, Strief says Brees absorbed some of that criticism onto himself, like many great leaders do.

As a former offensive lineman in high school, I can certainly understand Strief's apologetic feelings. One of the worst feelings in sports is when the man you're blocking makes a play on your quarterback or your running back, especially when it's an injury-causing tackle.
