Ouachita Drainage Revamp Still On Hold
MONROE, La. (AP) — A comprehensive drainage plan in the works for almost a year is still on hold while the Ouachita Parish Police Jury waits for more information from engineers.
Police Juror Pat Moore tells the News-Star (http://tnsne.ws/WuOhaN ) the problem is in getting certain information about the project from one consultant to another.
Moore told police jurors earlier this week that information on the history of the parish's drainage system is needed so the project can move forward.
Once that happens, parish engineers will take over the project.
