Overnight I-10 Crash Claims Life Of Two

According to State Police Troop D, 3 year old Marbella Funez of Houston died last night in a crash on I-10 two miles west of Lacassine. Funez and 36 year old Luis Ramos were not restrained and were ejected from the Nissan Pathfinder. Both front seat passengers were wearing seat belts and received minor to moderate injuries. Investigators determine that blowout of the right rear tire caused the vehicle roll over in the median.
