Lafayette Police will continue their campaign to stop impaired driving this weekend.

An OWI Checkpoint is scheduled within the incorporated limits of Lafayette between the hours of 9 pm and 3 am on Friday night. Officers working the checkpoint will respond with zero tolerance.

"Designate a driver if you intend to drink, by not doing so, it could result in costly fines and serious jail time," says LPD PIO Cpl. Paul Mouton.
