OWI Checkpoint In Lafayette On Saturday

Lafayette Police continue their crackdown on impaired driving this weekend.

Saturday, January 19, between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., there will be an OWI Checkpoint within the incorporated limits of Lafayette. Officers will be looking for drivers under the influence of alcohol or any other dangerous substance.

Police will respond with zero tolerance. Police advise you to designate a driver if you intend to drink because it could result in costly fines and serious jail time.
