Parked Car Gets Speeding Ticket From Camera 1,000 Miles Away

Josh Moss of Melbourne, Australia got a speeding ticket.

Nothing strange about that, right?

Fox News reports it came from a speed camera 1,000 miles away, in Gold Coast, while Moss' BMW was parked in his driveway.

I've never been a fan of speed cams, speedvans, or any of that. I wish I could blame this on a flawed system, but it turns out someone duplicated Moss' license plate. This is apparently rampant, targeting owners of high end vehicles like BMW's, etc.

If you have a "Beemer," "Benz," or other high end vehicle, beware!
