Pastels display set in Bossier City

BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) — Paintings by members of the Shreveport Pastels Society will be on display Oct. 16-Nov. 30 at the Bossier Arts Council East Bank Gallery.

The Times reports (http://bit.ly/SJK161 ) an opening reception will be held at 6 p.m. on Oct. 19 at the Arts Council, 630 Barksdale Blvd., Bossier City.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
