Pat Cooper Picked To Head Lafayette School System

The seven-month search for someone to lead the Lafayette Parish Schools is over. After a final round of interviews yesterday with the three finalists for the job, school board members in the end voted unanimously to offer the post to Pat Cooper.  He's the current president and CEO of the Early Childhood and Family Learning Foundation in New Orleans and former superintendent of the West Feliciana Parish schools.
