LSU head baseball coach Paul Mainieri will get a nice work bonus for his team's performance this postseason.

As the Tigers prepare to face off against the Florida Gators in the College World Series championship round tonight, the team will be fighting for their 7th National Championship.

Mainieri will be coaching for his 2nd National Title with the Tigers, as well as a $25,000 bonus.

The $25,000 bonus is small in comparison to the bonuses he's already earned in 2017.

Scott Rabalais of The Baton Rouge Advocate reports Mainieri has already made close to $400,000 in bonuses this season alone.

Mainieri’s bonuses to date break down as follows: • $25,000: SEC West title • $35,000: SEC regular-season title • $35,000: SEC tournament title • $50,000: Hosting NCAA regional • $50,000: Hosting NCAA super regional • $25,000: CWS appearance
