Pay For OWI Plea Scheme Nets Robert Williamson 78 Month Prison Term

Today U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Foote sentenced private investigator Robert Williamson to a 78 month prison term. According to his June 8, 2015 guilty plea Williamson admitted to being a part of a conspiracy to get favorable treatment for defendants charged with OWI. Judge Foote sentenced Williamson to a six and a half year prison term plus three years supervised release and ordered to pay $77,677 in restitution. Charges included one count of conspiracy, one count of bribery and one count of Social Security fraud.
