An increase in pay has been approved for State employees charged with investigating child abuse and neglect cases. They'll be getting an extra two-dollars an hour in hazardous duty pay.  The Civil Service Commission approved the request from the Department of Family and Children Services in an effort to ease a 25 to 30 percent turnover rate of investigators in the past few years.
