Pedestrian Killed After Hit And Run

Sunday night just before 11:30, State Police officers were called out after a pedestrian was killed on Highway 90 near Ricohoc.

Emergency responders found 60-year-old Larry Finister of Berwick lying in the roadway, and troopers think a car hit the man.

Finister was lying in the outside travel lane when he was run over by what troopers think was a late model GMC truck or an SUV.

Trooper say the driver drove away from the scene.

Routine toxicology samples were taken from Finister and will be sent to the State Police Crime Lab, but troopers say Finister had likely been drinking.
