St. Martinville Catfish Festival Continues Today

The St. Martinville Catfish Festival continues today.  Organizer Jeff Bigelow says the inaugural event takes place Sunday at Catfish Heaven in St. Martinville.

According to Bigelow,

Bands include Lil Nathan, Chris Ardoin, Greg Martinez and the Delta Kings, Cedric Watson and Horace Trahan .

The festival will be held at Catfish Heaven in St. Martinville and Bigelow said it’s easy to find.

The corner of Cypress Island Road and Lake Martin Road, that’s the easiest way to find it.

Tickets are only $7.00 for adults but Bigelow says there are options for those willing to contribute more towards the $25,000 pledge to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Bigelow said,

We also have VIP entrances that are $50 but that’s get you ‘meet and great’ time with the artists.  For $75.00 you get reserved seating at tables along with the ‘meet and greats’.
