Person From Scott Killed In Lafayette Crash

Early Sunday morning, Lafayette Police say 58-year-old Carmen Miller Jr. of Scott drove off of the Interstate Ten Westbound on-ramp for an unknown reason.

Investigators say Miller's 2006 Toyota Tacoma drove off the road and Miller was ejected.

Miller was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
