Person Injured In Breaux Bridge Shooting Released From Hospital

BREAUX BRIDGE, La. (KPEL) — One of the three people shot during a shooting in Breaux Bridge two weekends ago has been released from the hospital.

Maj. Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office says Emmaline Thibodeaux was sent home Monday. Her mother and her husband, former Breaux Bridge Police Chief Charlie Thibodeaux remain hospitalized.

The alleged shooter, 28-year-old Darrin Duhon, was arrested shortly after the shooting. He was charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
