Pineville Mayor Involved in Fatal Crash

An overnight crash involving the mayor of Pineville leaves a pedestrian dead. State Police say Mayor Clarence Fields was driving his SUV along Ls. 28 last night when he struck 29-year-old Erica L. Terrell who was walking in the right lane. Terrell was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
