Pineville Woman Accused Of Defrauding Elderly Person
PINEVILLE, La. (AP) — Police say a 55-year-old Pineville woman is facing charges she defrauded an elderly person under her care.
The Town Talk reports (http://townta.lk/TygU4R) Pineville police received a report on Oct. 24 that someone had been defrauding the victim.
Police say $25,000 is missing from the victim's bank account.
The victim's caretaker -- Carolyn Farr -- was arrested and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, where she is awaiting bond.
She was booked with unauthorized use of an access card over $500, forgery and exploitation of the infirmed.
It was unclear whether Farr has an attorney.
