Pistorius Testifies About Dying Girlfriend

PRETORIA, South Africa (AP) — Oscar Pistorius says his girlfriend died in his arms after he shot her on Valentine's Day last year.

The double-amputee Olympic runner is testifying for a third day today in his murder trial in South Africa.

Pistorius testified that he felt "helpless" as he put his fingers in Reeva Steenkamp's mouth to help her breath and put his hand on her hip to try to stop the bleeding from one of several gunshot wounds.

Pistorius says he fired his gun, thinking an intruder was in his house.
