NEW ORLEANS (AP) — As Louisiana's commercial fishermen and seafood industry continue to recover from the 2010 Gulf oil spill, plans are under way for the 2012 Louisiana Seafood Festival.

At a news conference next week, those involved in the festival are to announce the festival dates, music headliners and other highlights.

Tuesday morning's news conference will take place at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas Gulf of Mexico Exhibit. Participants scheduled to take part include Ron Foreman, the president and CEO of the Audubon Nature Institute; Tony Abadie of the New Orleans Hospitality Foundation; and Randy Pausina, assistant secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
