Police Believe Theft Motive Of Home Intruder [Audio]

Lafayette police have an idea why that intruder was found inside a woman's home at 4:00 this morning.

The woman was startled from her sleep when she heard a noise in her home.  She turned on the light and found a man crawling on the floor.  He covered his face and climbed out of a back window.  The woman lived in the Floridian Flats subdivision near West Congress.  Police are looking for a white male about five-foot-nine, thin build, wearing dark sweat pants with gray stripes and a dark colored long sleeve t-shirt.  If you have any information call 232-tips.
