Police Investigate Simcoe Street Robbery

Lafayette Police are still investigating after an armed Robbery at a store on Simcoe Street.  The employee says two black males went in, one produced a handgun, and they made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The first suspect is described as been in his teens or early 20's wearing a light colored shirt, shorts and a black hat, while the second suspect was in his late teens or 20's wearing a light shirt, dark pants, and a black hat.  Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that this crime is related to a convenience store robbery even earlier yesterday morning on Kaliste Saloom Road.
