Lafayette Police say a robbery Monday night and one Tuesday evening are similar, and they are looking for a black male in his 20's with a medium build who was wearing a dark colored hooded sweat shirt when he accosted his victims.

During the first robbery Monday, November 18, Lafayette Police were called out to the 200 block of Lana Drive around 10:20 that night after the victims said they were robbed at gunpoint.  The victims were in a parking lot when the suspect demanded their property, then fled on foot.

During the second robbery Tuesday, November 19, Lafayette Police say two female victims were returning to their apartment in the 100 block of Glouchester Road when a black male suspect approached them while brandishing a handgun and demanded their property.  The women told the suspect several times that they didn't have anything on them, and the suspect finally fled on foot towards Glouchester Road.

No one in either robbery was hurt.

Detectives are asking anyone with any information about the robberies to contact Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
