Lafayette Police are looking for the man accused of robbing another man at his home in the 3700 block of Louisiana Avenue around 11:19 this morning. Corporal Kyle Soriez says, according to the victim, a man knocked on his door, and when he opened it, the suspect had a gun. The victim says he was held up at gunpoint while the robber search his house for valuables. The victim says the robber then put him into the trunk of his own vehicle, locking him inside while he searched his vehicle for valuables as well. The victim says after the robber got away, he freed himself from the trunk and called 911. The suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing a red "hoodie" and dark pants. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
