Police Questioning Suspects In Opelousas High Stabbing

A sixteen-year-old student was stabbed this morning in a bathroom at Opelousas High. Opelousas Police Department spokesperson Darren Zachary says the incident started at a bus stop and was brought to school. Zachary says authorities are interviewing two or three suspects who are also students at the school. He says they have recovered the knife that was used in the stabbing. He says all parties involved in the situation have been removed from the school and the police are taking this investigation very seriously. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
