Police Report 1 Hurt In French Quarter Shooting

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Police say they are investigating a shooting incident in the French Quarter.

A police news release says one person received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Police said preliminary indications are that the shooting happened shortly after 6 a.m. Monday during a robbery at a closed Bourbon Street business.
