New Year's Eve, observant residents of Crowley and police were able to work together to catch a burglary suspect.

Around two o'clock that morning, officer got to the scene to find a man looking into car. He walked away when he saw police looking at him.

Gibson says,

"The officers stopped the suspect and began their investigation. During the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect had property on his possession which had been taken from several vehicles".

Gibson say five cars were broken into, and so Adams was arrested for five counts of burglary.

He says the rightful property owners go their things back.

Gibson adds,

"It takes team work to solve crime. We appreciate our citizens getting involved by reporting issues. I also appreciate the hard work of our officers".
