NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Police Chief Ronal Serpas says about 40 hours of video is being reviewed as detectives seek a second suspect in a deadly Bourbon Street gunfight.

The gunfire early on June 29 left a tourist dead and nine other people wounded. One suspect has been arrested.

Serpas discussed the case Thursday at an assembly in the French Quarter of more than 50 state troopers assigned to temporarily beef up police patrols in New Orleans.

State Police Col. Mike Edmonson says the contingent will include troopers from neighboring parishes and some already working other duties in New Orleans.

The troopers will be on duty through Labor Day.
