Police Seeking Suspects In Rue Royale Shooting

The Lafayette Police Department is asking for assistance in locating two suspects involved in a Monday morning shooting.

Cpl. Paul Mouton reported police were called out to the 100 block of Rue Royale where one woman was injured when the suspects began shooting inside of the home from the street.

The woman, shot in the right arm, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives are urging anyone with information on the shooting to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
