Police Trying To Figure Out Motive After Crowley Murder

One man is dead after getting shot Saturday evening in a home in the 1000 block of West 7th Street.

According to our news partners at KATC, the victim was shot several times in the body and leg area. Crowley Police say the shooting happened inside the home when the victim was confronted by the suspect.

Authorities are not releasing the victim's identity at this time and are trying to establish a motive. Investigators say they are following up on several leads.
